DON’T PAY DOUBLE FOR YOUR PHONE CALLS

The following comes from someone who has been “done” and verified the problem.
This applies to ALL mobile phones Al Jawal or Mobily .
When you make a “mobile call” your phone will connect to the Strongest Signal within the area you are. This could be either “Al Jawal” OR “Mobily”. Does this matter you might ask, well it costs you DOUBLE to call via the other network than that to which you are subscribed. For example:

o Al Jawal phone -> Al Jawal network = 40 hallalah per minute

o Al Jawal phone -> Mobily network = 80 hallalah per minute

o Mobily phone -> Mobily network = 40 hallalah per minute

o Mobily phone -> Al Jawal network = 80 hallalah per minute

Costs here are samples based on information from sources.
Depending on where you are then it could cost double for your mobile phone call.
The issue is that all mobiles are delivered “AUTO CONNECT”, this means that they will connect to the strongest signal in that area all the time. To fix this you must alter the setting within your phone. Every phone is different, but the general instructions are:

· Go to Settings

· Go to Phone Settings

· Choose Network Settings

· Select Manual…. The phone will now search for all available networks (can take some time)

· Within Saudi Arabia it will show two networks: ALJAWAL and KSA03 (Mobily)

· Select the network with whom you are subscribed, Al Jawal for SAWA and Al Jawal contracts, KSA03 if you are using Mobily contracts etc.
